No End in Sight: Connection's Summer Camps Offer Non-Stop Fun Beginning June 25

SUMMIT, NJ - Unlike the legendary 1966 surf movie depicted there may -- no matter how hard one tries or wishes -- actually be such as thing as an 'Endless Summer'. But there is good news for Hilltop City kids, as they can indulge in a summer of endless fun at The Connection’s Summer Camps. Nine weeks of excitement and activities begin June 25 and continue through August 24, providing children ages 3+ new and rewarding experiences.

The Connection’s Summer Day Camps are about making friends, gaining self-confidence, learning to work together & having fun while making memories. Afternoon camps offer instruction in designated areas of interest, while the SummerFun morning camp gives campers a taste of everything The Connection has to offer.

Campers are grouped by age and rotate through the 30,000 sq ft building, outdoor recreation and playground facilities, plus a state of the art gymnastics gym for a well-rounded summer camp experience. Swim lessons are offered Monday-Thursday with a free swim on Friday. Daily rotations include Gym, STEM, Art, Sports and Games.

To add to the fun, each week will follow an exciting theme. Special activities for the summer include: a “Dive In” movie in the pool, an inflatable outdoor water slide, a visit from the ice cream truck, face painting, dress-up days and more.

New this year, campers ages 9+ can be ‘SummerFun Pros’ who will have the chance to still participate in the camp day staples such as Gymnastics, STEM and swim while also having the flexibility to make their own schedule. This group of campers will have the opportunity to help blog about camp, produce music videos and create lasting art projects.

SummerFun runs from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and can be paired with any of The Connection’s afternoon camps including gymnastics, warrior, theater, fashion, art, cooking, robotics, STEM, nature, or sports for a fulfilling day.

Extra Time

It was close to 70 minutes into the match and I had to go to the bathroom.  Badly.

As fans watching the World Cup know too well, bathroom breaks are a serious dilemma, especially for those who don’t have a TV in the loo.  This biological necessity is exasperated by beer, which during World Cup matches also fuels a strong propensity to throw chairs and instigate riots.
