Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child Announces 2010-2011 Open House Schedule

Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child welcomes interested families to visit our campus during an open house.  Located in Summit, Oak Knoll is a Catholic independent school coeducational from kindergarten to grade 6 and for young women in grades 7 to 12.
Lower School (coeducational, kindergarten through grade 6) open houses are set for the following Wednesdays.  We invite you to meet our administration and faculty, tour the Lower School, and visit the classrooms. All events begin at 9:15 a.m. and conclude at 11 a.m.

•                    November 3, 2010
•                    November 17, 2010
•                    December 1, 2010
•                    January 12, 2011
•                    February 9, 2011
Special information sessions for Lower School applicants entering grade 6 will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 and Tuesday, February 15, 2011.  We invite you to learn more about our newly-developed curriculum for grade 6 – a multi-disciplinary, integrated, and thematic unit of study, based upon the tenets of project-based learning.
Upper School (for young women only, grades 7 through 12) open houses include tours of the campus, presentations, and visits with faculty members and students.  Our Upper School open houses will be held on:
•                    Sunday, October 24, 2010 (1:30 p.m. - registration and tours; 2 p.m. – presentations; 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. - faculty visits and tours)
•                    Saturday, November 13, 2010 (9:30 a.m. - registration and tours; 10 a.m. – presentations; 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. -  faculty visits and tours)

2/1 - At 0955 hours a report was taken for a theft of a street sign. The unlawful incident occurred between an unknown time frame on Pine Grove Avenue. Value of the street sign was not immediately available at the time of the report.
