SUMMIT, NJ - A night of first for the Summit High School Gymnastics Team appropriately would up with the Hilltoppers finishing first by a wide margin, winning at Union Catholic, 104.1 - 85.

Sophomore Mia Murdock took top spot on the Beam, her first win on the apparatus, Other 'firsts' including the first All-Around win for junior Emma Claus and the first time competing in the All-Around for junior Charlotte Girouard.

Claus and junior captain Catherine Singow shared the top of the podium on Vault, while Singow won Bars and sophomore Emma Burke claimed the Floor Exercise.

Next up for Summit (2-1) is a September 24 matchup with Roxbury. The meet begins at 7 p.m. at The Connection, which is located at 79 Maple Street.
