MATAWAN, NJ - Senior attack Harry Kilkowski and Nick Thomson provided the fireworks, and the Summit High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse team launched itself out of the 2018 season's gates with a dominating 14-1 win at Old Bridge.

Senior captain Kilkowski had four goals and six points on the day, while Thomson had a Hat Trick and eight -- yes, eight -- points including five assists. In sum, seven Hilltoppers found the back of the net as the Maroon and White built leads of 6-0 after one quarter and 11-0 at the half.

Goalies Will Vitton and Julian Rupkey split time, with each making two saves. By contrast, and despite allowing 14 goals, Old Bridge's Andrew Cherry had 19 stops.
