From Annette Dwyer, Summit Downtown:

I would like to notify all stakeholders of Summit Downtown, particularly on the block between Maple Street and Woodland Avenue that the following street and sidewalk work will be done beginning Tuesday, January 24th.

1. The sidewalk in front of 426 Springfield Avenue will be dug along with 1/2 the road in front of the building in order to begin the upgrade of our utility services. We will be bagging the following meters:

The Summit Police Dept will be directing the traffic. We believe that 1/2 the road will still be operational.

2. After our work is completed on Tuesday/Wednesday, NJ American Water will commence their work to increase the water line connections for our fire sprinkler service and our domestic service. We all are pursuing best efforts to do this work efficiently and in close timeframe to minimize the disruption to the downtown, especially on this block.

We thank you for your patience as we strive to bring the building into service and enhance its contribution to Summit Downtown.
