Paul Sears, Summit High School Principal since 2003, congratulates Stacy Grimaldi, who was formally approved by the Summit Board of Education January 21 to succeed him in the Kent Place Boulevard school's top post.
Sears announced his retirement, after three and a-half decades in education, on November 4, and the Summit Board of Education formed an interview committee comprised of teachers, administrators, Board and community members, that conducted "an intense process with a competitive and highly qualified group of candidates." The committee unanimously recommended Grimaldi.
Grimaldi, who has been Assistant Principal at SHS for the past seven years, will begin her new role on or before April 1.
