Pebble Players Host Auditions Sept. 8-9 for Upcoming Staging of 'Legally Blonde, The Musical'


SUMMIT, NJ - Hilltop City youth theatre company Pebble Players will hold auditions for their November performance of "Legally Blonde, The Musical" on September 8 - 9, with callbacks on September 11.

Actors must be between ages 13-18, and are asked to prepare one 'Broadway song' and to wear appropriate attire for a dance audition. A pianist will be provided. All auditions are by appointment, to schedule an audition time email pebbleplayers@verizon.net.

"Legally Blonde, The Musical" will be staged November 3 - 5 and  10 - 12.  

Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture, with a book by Heather Hach and music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Neil Benjamin, "Legally Blonde, The Musical" tells the story of 'Elle Woods', who appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette and Emmett, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
