SUMMIT, NJ - The unique sounds of 'Well Strung', a singing string quartet will a modern twist, will bring Reeves-Reed Arboretum's (RRA) 'Sounds of a Summer Night' music series to a close August 9, with the quartet fusing what The New York Times noted as "pop and classical music from Madonna to Beethoven."

'Well Strung' features Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello), and Trevor Wadleigh (viola) performing classical pieces while singing pop music hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Kelly Clarkson.

The August 9 concert has been dedicated to the Summit Area Public Foundation (SAPF), with the Arboretum's Trustees and staff celebrating the support and encouragement SAPF gives to RRA, as well as to the many nonprofits in Summit and the surrounding communities.
