SUMMIT, NJ - Members of the public are invited to attend City of Summit Rent Commission meetings, held on the first Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall. Designed to help promote tolerance and realize equal opportunity, the meetings see the Commission share information with tenants and property owners on fair housing laws in the public and rental housing industry.
The mission of the Summit Rent Commission is to promote safe and fair rental practices for tenants and landlords. It serves to educate and support Summit residents, and recommend appropriate methods for settling rental disputes.
