SUMMIT, NJ - The Hilltop City's own veritable museum of plants and trees, Reeves-Reed Arboretum (RRA), will open its gardens for a plant sale featuring woody specimens, plants and perennials grown there, as well as select offerings of rare and unusual extras provided by carefully chosen vendors.

All proceeds from the plant sale will go towards RRA’s budget for grounds maintenance and improvements. A “members preview” sale, exclusively for Arboretum members, will take place on May 15, from 2 - 5 p.m., followed by the general public event May 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Arboretum’s horticultural team, headed by Horticulture Director Marc Montefusco and Lead Horticulturist Julieanne Frascinella, will be on hand to answer any gardening questions and to make planting recommendations.
