SUMMIT, NJ - Kent Place School will host its first-ever 'Girls Day 5K Run' October 14, with registration for the open-to-the-public run, walk and learn event now open.

The 'Girls Day 5K' is a timed 5K run followed by a student-led educational festival with activities centered around International Day of the Girl (IDG). International Day of the Girl is an annual day highlighting issues in girls’ education across the globe. Proceeds will benefit BlinkNow, an organization that provides support for girls and women in Nepal.

The racecourse will see runners make their way the Kent Place School campus and the surrounding streets of Summit for the racecourse.
