SUMMIT, NJ - The elite Oak Knoll School Lacrosse program will host a complimentary instructional Skills ‘n’ Drills clinic for boys and girls in kindergarten through grade 6 on November 5.
The clinic will take place on Oak Knoll School’s turf field in Summit, rain or shine. The session for students in grades K-2 will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., while grades 3-6 will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. For more information and to register, visit oakknoll.org/lacrosse.
The event, free and open to the public, will be headlined by the Royals' state championship coach, Rachel Lasda. All skill levels are welcome.
Lasda, is entering into her fourth season as head coach at Oak Knoll School, where she has led the team to three New Jersey state championship titles and a program first, winner of the Tournament of Champions. In addition to the team’s success, Lasda has also experienced personal achievements winning USA Today Coach of the Year, NJ.com Coach of the Year, and NFHS Sectional Coach of the year. Her overall record as head coach at Oak Knoll is 60-16.

Geoff Lasda, the older brother of Rachel Lasda, has been the head coach and assistant for high school programs at The Kent School in Connecticut and Pace Academy in Georgia. Additionally, he has worked with youth travel teams in Atlanta, Minnesota and Connecticut. He was a four-year varsity player at Princeton University where he was not only a four-time Ivy League Champion, but also a member of the ’97 and ’98 NCAA National Men’s Lacrosse Championship teams.
Charles Spinelli is currently the Assistant Varsity Girls Lacrosse coach at Oak Knoll. Entering into his fifth season, He coordinates offensive strategies and development as well as goalie improvement.
Gianna Spinelli joined the Oak Knoll coaching staff as the JV head coach and second varsity assistant in 2017.
