Saddle Up: Annual Washington Elementary School Country Fair Set for May 14

Washington's Country Fair promises to be a hoot for kids of all ages.
SUMMIT, NJ - Round-up the kids, as one of the Hilltop City's most anticipated springtime traditions, the Washington Elementary School Country Fair, is set for May 14, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., rain or shine.
The event, open to residents of Summit and surrounding communities, features a variety of indoor and outdoor games, including bounce houses, as well as a petting zoo, arts and crafts, piñatas, a cake walk, and more.  A variety of food will be available for purchase, and the bake sale will be back after a one-year absence.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to win dozens of great prizes at the Silent and Tin Can Auctions. This year’s 'bidfests' will offer items donated by local shops and skilled artisans as well as national companies, including a studio meet & greet with the CBS' NFL Today team; DisneyWorld passes; Yankees, Jets tickets and Devils tickets; sports memorabilia; spa and fitness packages; a golf foursome; and portrait sittings with professional photographers.

Among the raffle prizes are: Apple watches, an iPad mini, Beats headphones, a FitBit, the 2016 American Girl doll, a plethora of LEGOs, an electric scooter, two Vera Bradley backpacks, gift certificates for such restaurants Roots and Serenade, and much, much more.
