Schluter Again Scores Four as Summit H.S. Boys Lacrosse Thrashes West Morris Central, 13-0

Freshman Luke Dinola set up two goals in Summit's commanding win over West Morris Central.

CHESTER, NJ - The Summit High School Lacrosse programs' march through Chester is complete and it was, in a word, complete.

Days after the Girls Varsity demoed their West Morris Central counterparts 19-6, the Hilltopper Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team beat the Wolfpack 13-0 on a 'where is spring?' chilly night in the Morris County Borough. Junior Skyler Schluter had his second straight four-goal game, senior Eamon McTernan had a Hat Trick and five points, and senior captain Harry Kilkowski and classmate Tom Fischetti each had a pair of scores to pace the win.

Senior captain Will Vitton (13) and junior Tyler Hadley (1) combined for a 14-save shutout for the Hilltoppers, now 6-0 on the season.

Summit's 'M.O.' has been to supersonically dismantle teams in the first quarter but, this time, the third frame was hammer time for the Hilltoppers, as they fired home seven unanswered tallies in the quarter, extending their 5-0 halftime lead to a whopping 12-goal advantage.

Other Summit highlights included the first-ever Varsity goal for sophomore David Parella, a one-goal, three assist night by senior Nick Thomson, two assists from junior Jackson Tyler, two assists for freshman attack Luke Dinola, and a gaggle of 14 ground balls collected from senior Stephen Sajer (3), junior Deacon Donaldson (4) Fischetti (3) and Tyler (4).

Summit returns home to face Union County and division rival Westfield April 21. Face-off at Investors Bank Field is set for 11 a.m.
