Continuing their tradition of outreach, Summit-based Concord Singers recently gave Juniper Village residents in Chatham Township a preview of their scheduled December 10 holiday concert, focusing on the holiday pieces that included Silver Bells, Grown Up Christmas List, Go Tell It On The Mountain, Ose Shalom and This Christmastide.

Before concluding, the members left their spots in the front of the room to join the Juniper Village residents in a holiday sing-a-long. The Juniper residents enjoyed the entertainment and Concord members received the gift of remembering why they make music -- to bring joy to ourselves and others.

Concord Singers is a women's community chorus directed by Christopher Titko and accompanied by Caroline Parody. The singers are all volunteer and meet Monday nights at Calvary Episcopal Church. The December 10 concert titled, The Spirit Rejoices, is a combination of holiday and other seasonal music ranging from classical to popular standards. The singers will be accompanied by a professional string ensemble on several pieces.
