SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Educational Foundation, which has provided more than $3.5 million in grants to the Summit Public Schools since the fall of 2010, will hold its annual fundraiser -- dubbed "Spring for Excellence" -- March 11 at The Summit Elks Lodge, beginning at 7 p.m.

Formerly known as 'Casino Night', the SEF's new spring vibe is billed by the organization as "a night of fun, food, raffles, auctions, music and more," and is designed to dovetail thematically with the SEF's commitment to excellence for Summit schools.

Event highlights will include a '50/50 Spring for It Raffle', a 'Sparkle and Shine' Raffle -- which dangles a chance to win a pair of 1.0 ctw-certified diamond earrings appraised at $6,000 --  and 'Hamilton Raffle,' offering a chance to win two, second-row, left orchestra tickets to the September 16 performance of the smash hit Hamilton.
