Select Summit Downtown Businesses Participate in June 16 Fundraising Initiative Benefiting Tarentino Family

SUMMIT, NJ - Several business based in downtown Summit will participate in a day of fundraising to benefit the family of Summit Police Department Detective Matthew Tarentino. The benevolence of these business will come one day after The Office Tavern Grill and Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro will host a Dine-to-Donate event at their side-by-side locations on Union Place.

On Friday,, June 16, the donation efforts will include:

Peter Wallburg Studios  (15 Beechwood Rd.) - Will donate a percentage of sales from both June 15 and 16.

Bar Method (86 Summit Ave.) – Will donate $20 for each person who takes a class at Summit Bar Method on 6/16. Donations also welcomed.

Beautylounge (31 Maple St.) – Will donate a percentage of the day’s sales to the Tarentino family.

Faux Paws Wholesome Pet Shop (318 Springfield Ave.) – Will donate 20% of the day’s sales, including phone and mail orders, to the Tarentino family. Free shipping on all orders placed that day.

Privado Hair Salon (5 Beechwood Rd.) – Will donate a percentage of the day’s sales to the Tarentino family.

Red Balloon (386 Springfield Ave.) – Will donate 10% of the day’s sales to the Tarentino family. Donations also welcomed.

Sweet Nothings (26 Beechwood Rd.) – Will donate a percentage of the day’s sales to the Tarentino family.

The Toy Professor (430 Springfield Ave.) – Will donate 10% of the day’s sales (excluding discounted sales) to the Tarentino family.

June 15-30

What a Dish Catering (306 Springfield Ave.) - W ill donate a percentage all the sales made during these days to the Tarentino family.
