SUMMIT, NJ - The five senior class members of the Summit High School Girls Varsity Basketball Team will be saluted when the team holds its annual "Senior Night" February 2, prior to the Hilltoppers taking on Scotch Plains-Fanwood at the Main Gym.
 
The five are:
 
Julia Harkins, Guard
Kayla Hoesly, Forward
Kathleen Morano, Forward / Center
Cassidy O'Malley, Center
Caitlin Osmulski, Guard
 
Summit, currently 9-5 on the season, is on the cusp of learning their State Tournament seeding, with the game against the Raiders the first of two consecutive home games during the week. On February 6, Summit will face AL Johnson in the team's "Hoops for Hope" fundraiser, which benefits the Connie Dwyer Breast Center and the Adrienne Reid Memorial Scholarship Fund.
 
"Senior Night" tip-off is set for 7 p.m., with ceremonies honoring the student athletes scheduled immediately before game time.
