SUMMIT, NJ - Despite the Oct. 29 snowstorm, the Summit High School Forensics Team traveled to Phillipsburg High School that day and enjoyed a great first tournament of the school year.

Ten Summit students made it into the final rounds: Abin Alexander and Alex Kelser, third place Novice Public Forum Debate; Sam Goodstein, fourth place Prose Interpretation; Victoria Abut, second place Improvisational Acting; Ellie Winter, fourth place Declamation; Nikki Theriot, fifth place Declamation; Chris Melka, sixth place Declamation; Beth Ann Powers, fourth place Dramatic Interpretation; Keenan Buckley, fifth place Dramatic Interpretation; Allison Scott, first place Humorous Interpretation;  Allison Scott and Greg Archer, first place Duo Interpretation.

The Summit High School Forensics Team is coached by theater arts teacher Anne Poyner.
