SUMMIT, NJ - The Continuo Arts Foundation will produce and present the ninth annual “Christmas Time in the City” Holiday concert December 16, at 7:30 p.m., at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School. The performance will feature more than 200 singers, seven choirs from Union, Morris and Essex Counties, soloists, the Continuo Arts Chamber Orchestra, the Walsh Memorial Bell Choir, Santa, audience sing-a-longs and special guest artists.

The individual and combined Continuo Arts Ensembles & Chamber Orchestra will present many perennial holiday favorites, including works by composers Amadeus Mozart, John Rutter, and John Lennon. The Continuo New Jersey Children’s Choir and a visit by Santa always have surprise vignettes in store for young concert-goers and children can look forward to an opportunity for picture taking after the performance.

Continuo Arts offers a comprehensive Intergenerational Choral Program with seven ensembles for singers of all ages.  At the newly opened Conservatory in Summit, Continuo offers piano, vocal and instrumental lessons for beginners through advanced in addition to audition prep, and Broadway & Beyond musical theater workshops.
