SUMMIT, NJ - Celebrating a decade of delicious flapjacks and show-stopping performances, the 10th Annual SPARC Pancake Breakfast fundraiser will be served up March 25 at Summit High School cafeteria from 8 - 11:30 a.m.

In addition to the tasty treats hot off the griddle, attendees will enjoy entertainment provided by Summit School District students of all ages, with Summit elementary school groups performing their musical numbers in costume.

Also featured will be a 'sneak preview' of the Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School (LCJSMS) spring musical "Willy Wonka," lively dance from the Summit STEP Team, a performance by LCJSMS select chorus “Bel Canto,” and fun and poignant presentations from the nationally-recognized Summit High School (SHS) Speech and Debate team. The dazzling line-up will be interspersed with vocal selections performed by our SHS students.

Additional event activities include a 50/50 Cash Raffle and a 50/50 Merchandise Raffle featuring an iPad Mini 2 and Bullet Earbuds (each valued at more than $200). The popular silent auction features day camps, dance and vocal lessons, and other student-centered items

The Summit Performing Arts Resource Committee (SPARC) is a non-profit volunteer organization founded in 1996. The mission of SPARC is to promote the performing arts in the Summit Public Schools, recognize student achievements, and continuously enrich programs and productions,  through advocacy, financial support, and education initiatives.  

Admission at the door is $10 for adults, $5 for children, with kids under three years of age free of charge.
