SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Performing Arts Resource Committee will host a 'Meet the Performing Arts Coaches' event at Summit High School June 12, providing the opportunity for rising students in grades 6-9 and their families to learn more about the Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School and Summit High School performing arts programs.

The event, featuring panel discussions incorporating students and coaches, will take place in the Summit High School Media Center from 6 - 8 p.m.

In addition, light refreshments and cake will be served in celebration of the 21st anniversary of the founding of the Summit Performing Arts Resource Committee, a private nonprofit group whose mission is to promote the performing arts in the Summit public schools, recognize student achievements, and continuously enrich our programs and productions through advocacy, financial support, and educational initiatives..
