Streaking Summit H.S. Boys Hockey Wins 11th Straight, Slams Montclair-Kimberley 9-1

Summit's Nikita Pryymak stopped 22 of the 23 shots he faced.

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Continuing to set a new standard for wins to open a season, the Summit High School Boys Varsity Hockey ran their victory streak to 11, building a 5-0 first-period lead and never looking back to trounce Montclair-Kimberley Academy, 9-1, at Clary Anderson Arena.

Sophomore Tom Pryymak had two goals and an assist and classmate Nikita Pryymak turned away 22 shots in the emphatic Maroon and White performance.

Eight Hilltoppers -- Tom Pryymak, Joe Galgano, Davis Strabley, Remi Vidal, Luc Radice, captains Will Vitton and David Sharpe, along with Jake Puskar -- all scored goals. Vitton also had three assists for a four-point night.

Charlie Collins (2), captain Johnny Puskar, alternate captain Greg Moller, and JP Jacobello joined the scoring parade with assists.

Summit's next game features a Titanic tussle of two unbeaten teams as the Hilltoppers travel to Randolph to take on the 10-0-3 Rams at Aspen Ice in Randolph. Face-off for the 'something's gotta give barring a tie' contest, is set for 6 p.m.

Aspen Ice is located at 16 Aspen Drive.
