On Thursday April 27, Student/Partner Alliance (S/PA) will proudly host a special evening of stories and celebration at Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. The evening, "Their Success....Your Success...." will include short presentations from several Student/Partner Alliance students, college students who have graduated from the S/PA program and special guest speaker, Michael Scanlan, Assistant Headmaster at St. Benedict's Prep in Newark.

The mission of Student/Partner Alliance is to support inner city high school students in New Jersey with private school tuition assistance and mentoring to increase their chances for college admission and scholarships, and to ultimately lead productive and successful lives.

The evening will provide an opportunity to mingle, meet and speak with current and graduated students as well as partners and mentors from the surrounding communities who make-up the backbone of the non-profit. "We are always looking to expand our circle of friends who are interested in creating a positive impact on a student's life through mentoring," explained Emmett Daly, President of the Board of Trustees and Summit resident.

"Come by to hear what you can do to make a difference in a teen's life; and feel free to bring a friend or two, as well. If you are looking for an impactful volunteer opportunity, we hope you will join us," remarked Ms Momber.

My So-Called Graduation

The last of my children graduated from high school.
