There are only days left until Summer Camp begins! The Connection’s Summer Camps have something to make every child’s summer memorable. Performing arts, swimming, gymnastics, science, sports, fine arts and travel are all part of a campers day. Camps run for eight weeks from June 23 – August 15. Sign up for a full day, half day, one week, or all eight!

Join The Connection in the morning for SummerFun Camp (8:30-1:00pm). Campers ages 3+ will be busy all summer making new friends and experiencing new activities! Talented counselors lead them through each exciting day as they take dance, video, gymnastics, sports, science, yoga, art, and swim lessons.

Specialty Camps in the afternoon include: Girls Gymanstics, Lights! Camera! Action! and Fit & Fun. All campers will enjoy their favorite activity, whether they love gymnastics, performing arts, or sports and fitness, in addition to daily recreational swim time or swim lessons and outdoor play for a rounded camp experience. All afternoon specialty camps run from 1:00-4:30pm.

Spots fill fast for the Travel Camp, where lucky campers ages 8+ take a day trip to exciting locations. Trips include a packed day with a visit to Turtleback Zoo, the Tree Top Adventure Course, and miniature golf (7/7).  Campers will explore sea life as they take a visit to America’s most touchable aquarium, Adventure Aquarium (7/8). Enjoy Broadway’s newest musical comedy, Aladdin on Broadway (7/9). Bounce around at Rebounderz indoor trampoline arena (7/10). Beat the heat at Sahara Sam’s indoor and outdoor water park (7/11). Enjoy a unique view of the city from The Beast Speedboat Ride, New York’s only jet powered thrill boat that rides right past the Statue of Liberty, and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum (7/14). Campers will have a blast at iPlay America’s indoor theme park. Ride go-karts, the Kite Flyer, Skyscraper, bumper cars, and play laser tag and arcade games (7/15). Sports fans will root and cheer for the WNBA NY Liberty Basketball Game at Madison Square Garden versus Atlanta Dream (7/16) or spend a relaxing afternoon at Tomahawk Lake’s water park and picnic area (7/18)!  All trips are well supervised by trained, professional staff to ensure children’s safety.

Rate hikes can dampen bond performance, but keep perspective on how rising rates impact ...

Cluelessly Clueless

I teenaged my way through high school under the assumption that my parents had no idea what I was doing.  I like to think I was pretty good at withholding information and presenting situations in ways that were other than they really were.

Still, sometimes they found things out.  Like the time my friends plopped me on our front door step at one o'clock in the morning ...
