Summer Camp registration at The Connection begins Wednesday, February 11th .  Register for a full day or half day; 8 great weeks of camp begins on June 29 and runs through August 21. Summer day camps at The Connection have been a tradition in the community for over 70 years. This year campers will enjoy endless summer fun with activities such as: Performing Arts, Gymnastics, Sports, Swimming, Yoga, Art, or Travel!

The Connection offers SummerFun (boys and girls 3+), Lights! Camera! Action! (boys and girls 3+), Girls Gymnastics (girls 4+), Fit & Fun (boys and girls 4+) and Travel Camp (boys and girls 8+),   as well as extended camps such as early morning Sunrisers from 7:30-8:30am, ages 3+, late afternoon Campers Club from 4:30-6:00pm ages 4+, and an all-day option, ages  4+!

The traditional SummerFun camp (8:30-1:00pm) offers daily activities such as swim lessons, yoga, dance, gymnastics, sports, arts and crafts. Campers are grouped by age and rotate through the 30,000 sq ft building, outdoor recreation and playground facilities, plus a state of the art gymnastics gym for a well-rounded summer camp experience.

Lights!Camera!Action! (1:00-4:30pm) provides young performers with a summer stock experience. Activities include an on camera class, dance, staging, set and costume design, plus recreational swim or an optional swim lesson. The Connection’s specialty teachers guide campers through every aspect of putting on a show, culminating in a spectacular performance the last day of each two week session. This year’s shows include: The Lion King, Newsies, Matilda, and Annie.

Gymnastics Camp (1:00-4:30pm) is perfect for beginners to advanced gymnasts, combining instruction on balance beam, uneven bars, vaulting, floor exercise and tumble track. This camp also includes a daily recreational swim time or optional swim lesson, a dance rotation and a tumbling contest every Friday. After 8 weeks of flips and jumps, even the novice will feel confident.

Fit & Fun (1:00-4:30pm) uses spirited play geared to individual ability levels to teach campers multiple sports, help them gain confidence and acquire a love of sports to match their talents and interests. Daily recreational swim or swim lessons are also included in this camp.

Lucky travelers will visit exciting locations in Travel Camp such as: A trip to NYC for a Broadway show, The Beast Speed Boat Ride PLUS The Ride Interactive Bus Tour NYC, Tomahawk Lake Water Park, Island Beach State Park Ecology Tour and beach time, New York Liberty WNBA Game at Madison Square Garden, Powerhouse Studios Wild Wacky Challenge, paintball, paddle boarding, and more!  Choose any day or combination of days or weeks.  All trips are well supervised by The Connection’s trained staff.

Full and Partial Scholarships are available for all of The Connection’s classes and activities, including camp. Day camps at The Connection bring together children of all abilities, backgrounds and economic circumstances to enjoy swimming, gymnastics, performing arts, sports, outdoor play and games.
