MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - A group of Summit Area YMCA teens recently volunteered at Imagine, a year-round grief support center for youth ages 3 - 30 that are coping with loss due to the death or illness of a family member. The teens helped with the start of a new memory garden, preparing a more than 60' stretch of land for planting while also helping make greeting cards and attended an Imagine workshop.

“I learned a lot of things to help people who are grieving including what to say and not to say,” said Alex Delargy of New Providence.

"We loved working with these stellar teens," said Imagine Executive Director Mary Robinson. "They provided a great service for us. Special thanks to fantastic Summit Y Youth Program Leader Trevor Cromwell."
