SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Downtown Art Festival, originally set for May 21, will be rescheduled for September 17 and coincide with a Classic Car Show staged that day, pending approval from the Summit Common Council.

Co-organized by the Visual Art Center of NJ and Summit Downtown, Inc. (SDI), the juried art show is intended to showcase a variety of artists ranging from photographers and painters to sculptors and jewelry makers, who will display and sell their work.

Organized by the Summit Police Athletic League (P.A.L.), the Classic Car Show hosts more than 100 classic and vintage cars, which will line Union Place, Bank Street, and Beechwood Road.

Due to support from Regal Bank, live entertainment on the day will be provided by Bruce Springsteen tribute band "The B Street Band."
