SUMMIT, NJ - Connor Murphy notched a three-goal Hat Trick, and James Strabley added a goal and three assists, as the Summit High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team improved to 7-1 on the season with a 6-3 road victory over Rumson-Fair Haven.

The Hilltoppers took control from the opening face-off, scoring the first four goals of the game.  Strabley fed Matt Fischetti for the opening tally, followed by back-to-back goals from Murphy, the latter goal also assisted by Strabley.
After John Cordrey scored off a scrum to make it 4-0, the Bulldogs responded with two goals in 40 seconds to halve the lead heading into halftime.
In the third quarter, Strabley scored on the man-up advantage, assisted by Chris Zanelli, to make it 5-2.  Murphy later completed his Hat Trick, and the scoring, with Strabley registering his third asset.
Sam Bebout was, again, solid between the pipes for Summit, making 12 saves.  The Hilltoppers return to Investors Bank Field April 19, when they will face Princeton.  Face-off is set for 11 a.m.
