The Summit Department of Community Programs is currently studying the possibility of expansion of the Summit Community Center located at 100 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ. The original proposal called for improvements to the 58 year old Community Center including the gym, meeting rooms, a senior lounge, a youth lounge, HVAC and energy improvements, parking and accessibility for this great public asset built in 1954.

This is the fifth public information and consensus meeting of the series. In particular, this meeting will focus on the interest in the gymnasium and the possibility of expanded space or additional new gym space.

Residents with interest in the project or are Summit basketball enthusiasts are welcome to attend and see the presentation by The Rosen Group. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss the possibilities with members of the Department of Community Programs Advisory Board and Staff.
