SUMMIT, NJ - For the tenth time in the past 12 days, the City of Summit was notified by the New Jersey State Department of Health that no new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Summit on June 30.
Summit concluded June with 11 confirmed, new cases, by far its lowest monthly total since the pandemic began. The 11 cases are 66 percent less than the 33 cases reported in May, the previous low monthly mark in the Hilltop City.
May and June's combined total of 44 cases is just slightly higher than the 40 cases reported in March. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Summit since the outbreak originated remains steady at 215.
