SUMMIT, NJ - Partnering with Comfort Zone Camp (CZC) and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, the City of Summit Fire Department will provide volunteer training on Saturday, April 21 for an upcoming three-day, summer weekend camp program for youth ages seven to 17 who are grieving the loss of a parent who fell in the line of duty as a firefighter.

Volunteer roles include general camp volunteer, logistics support as well as other responsibilities. The training will be held April 21, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., at The Grand Summit Hotel. All volunteers must complete the six-hour training and pass a background check to participate in the summer camp, which runs from Friday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1 in Johnsonburg, NJ.
