SUMMIT, NJ - The annual 'Girls' Night Out' in the Hilltop City, hosted by Summit Downtown, Inc., is slated for May 4, from 5 - 9 p.m.  An evening of shopping, dining, entertainment, and giveaways awaits, with participants encouraged to start their evening at the Welcome Center, located in Lyric Park, at the corner of Bank Street and Beechwood Road.

Registration for the event is free, and only those who pre-register will be entered into the drawing to win one of the fantastic door prizes donated by the downtown businesses. At the Welcome Center, attendees can pick up their goodie bags -- available on a first-come, first-served basis -- to find out if they have won a door prize.

Many downtown businesses will stay open late and offer a variety of special events including trunk shows, raffles, receptions, and more. Ed Giordano, caricaturist, will be returning to Girls’ Night Out to draw free caricatures for participants.  A variety of music will be played throughout the downtown, including Night of the Living Funk, a progressive funk band from New York City, which is back by popular demand, and Paul Fessock of World or Rock who will be 'deejaying' on site.
