SUMMIT, NJ - Summit High School juniors Malcolm Feeney and Alex Schluter; both members of the Hilltopper Lacrosse Team, have joined together to organize a program to help disadvantaged youths play and enjoy sports.

Responding to a “Reform Project” in their History class, the duo have initiated a drive to collect used sports equipment, which will then be donated to local and national youth programs.

Any donation, small or large, of used sports equipment -- relating to any sport, not just lacrosse -- is welcome and can be made via drop boxes located at 48 Colt Road and / or 32 Waldron Avenue.  The only exempt item not able to be collected is flat bottom shoes like sneakers.

Donation pick-ups can also be arranged by calling 908 / 273-3316, or by sending an e-mail to mmfeen@gmail.com.
