Ernest Carter scored 13 points and Amari Thompson added 12 to pace Rahway.

As they did the night before against Caldwell, Summit trailed by a bucket after one quarter. Down 13-11, the Hilltoppers outscored the visitors 16-9 over he next eight minutes of play to take a five-point halftime lead and then kept the momentum going after the break, 'winning' a low-scoring third stanza 9-5 and heading to the final frame ahead, 36-27.

Both teams found the keys to the offensive ignition and combined for 33 final frame points. Fortunately for Hilltopper Nation, the home team got 17 of those points and ended up winning in relative comfort.

Summit's reward for the 'W' is a tough trip to face third-seeded Roselle Catholic on February 22. Tip-off for the UCT quarterfinal versus the Lions is set for 7:30 p.m. at AL Johnson High School in Clark.
