SUMMIT, NJ - Senior defenseman and team captain Cecily Stabler has been named to the All State Girls Ice Hockey Team.

In 19 games this past season, Stabler scored 29 goals and chipped in eight assists, her 37 points nearly a two-points per game average. She concluded her Hilltopper ice hockey career as the school's all-time leader in points scored and was named the team's 2016-17 Most Valuable Player.

Among Stabler's achievements this past season were three Hat Tricks over the course four consecutive games -- including back-to-back three-goal games versus Randolph and Oak Knoll -- as The Maroon & White captured the unofficial, but coveted, state public school title.

Summit finished the season with a sterling record of 15-4.
