SUMMIT, NJ - Kendall Codey and Mitchell Booth were honored as Union County Scholar Athletes at the 38th Annual Union County Interscholastic Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Dinner held in Garwood.  

Each high school in Union County selects one boy and one girl as their scholar-athlete representatives at the dinner, with the Hilltoppers represented by Codey and Booth.

Codey will be attending Amherst College, where she will be playing field hockey, and Booth will be attending The University of Chicago, where he will run track.

Each scholar-athlete received a scholarship from the UCIAC for $1,000, and an additional scholarship for books from Investors Bank of $250. The event was was a showcase for students who excel in the classroom and in the arena of competition, and is managed by Tom Lewis, Executive Director of the UCIAC.
