MILLBURN, NJ - Members of the Summit High School Performing Arts Department's production of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" were honored with two Rising Star Awards and a scholarship award at the 2017 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards Ceremony where, for the 12th year in a row, the Kent Place Boulevard campus' musical was nominated for Outstanding Overall Production.

The lofty nomination company that Summit continues to keep -- they won the prestigious Award last year for their production of "Mary Poppins" -- places the program in the top seven out of the 96 entries in the annual competition, which recognizes excellence in musical theatre in New Jersey.

Summit's Robert Scott won a Student Achievement Award for his role as Lighting Crew Chief, with Katherine Winter bringing home her third Rising Star Award for Costume Design.

Sean McManus received a Paper Mill Playhouse scholarship for musical theatre.
