SUMMIT, NJ - The Italian-American Club in Summit will be hosting a winter coat drive December 1-22, with all outerwear collected donated to The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, located in Elizabeth.

Of special need are adult-sized large and extra-large men’s coats, and all sizes of children’s coats including infants.

The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless was created in 1981 in response to the mounting needs of homeless families and individuals in the affected community.  The Coalition's earliest work focused on the emergency assistance needs of adult homeless, providing advocacy to ensure shelter as well as developing housing search services.
