SUMMIT, NJ - Seven Kent Place School seniors have been honored by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations taken last spring.

Lillian Higgins, Mariella Evangelista, Radhika Siva, Alaina CohenAllison Herr, Elizabeth Yoss, and Katrina Peterson -- all residents of Summit -- received recognition.

Higgins, Peterson, Siva, and Yoss were named AP Scholars with Honor. The award of AP Scholar with Honor is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Cohen, Evangelista and Herr were named AP Scholars. The award of AP Scholar is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher (on a scale of 1 to 5) on three or more AP Exams.

In 2015, Kent Place had a total of 93 students recognized by the College Board for excellence on AP exams.
