The Summit Free Public Library will be closed on Saturday, July 2 through Monday July 4, for Independence Day.

The library summer hours will begin starting on July 3. Summer hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Sundays.

The new drive-up Book Drops located by the Cedar Street exit are open 24/7 for the return of all materials, including magazines, videos and compact discs. No overdue fines are charged for days when the Library is closed.
