On Tuesday, July 20, at 7:30 PM, the Summit Free Public Library will host a special pre-concert lecture for the Summit Music Festival. Jason C. Tramm, Artistic Director of the Festival, will give a talk on this year's program, Réflexions françaises. He will discuss the three works to be performed: Gabriel Fauré's "Pavanne", "Requiem" by Maurice Duruflé, and Francis Poulenc's "Gloria". Dr. Tramm is Music Director of the New Jersey State Opera and of Coro Lirico, as well as the founder of the Summit Music Festival.

The lecture, which is co-sponsored by the Summit Free Public Library and the Summit Music Festival, is free and open to all. It will be held in the Ernest S. Hickok Meeting Room at the Library. Seating is limited. First come, first seated. Doors open 15 minutes before the beginning of the program.

The Library is located at 75 Maple Street, Summit, New Jersey and is open Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am to 9:00pm; Thursday through Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. The Library is closed on Sundays in July and August. For more information, go to www.summitlibrary.org
