SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Free Public Library will host a reading of "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King," with Library staff reading the Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffman-penned classic to children ages 4-10. The free story time event begins at 4 p.m.
Also in attendance will be two 11 year-olds -- Summit's Donald Grennon and Katie Lefkowitz of Warren -- both of whom are dancers scheduled to appear in the Summit-based New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble's upcoming production of "The Nutcracker" in Montclair.
Glennon and Lefkowitz will appear in costume, and will be available to answer questions and take photos with the children in attendance.
