SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Free Public Library will host a ‘Virtual Volunteer Fair’ for area nonprofits the week of November 16, with participating entities asked to submit a short, three-minute video describing their organization and available volunteer opportunities.
The Library will feature participating nonprofits on its website and different organizations will be featured on the library’s Facebook page throughout the week. The Library's closure due to the coronavirus pandemic caused the third annual Volunteer Fair to be canceled. Approximately 30 nonprofit organizations were scheduled to participate in the March event—looking for both adult and high school volunteers.
Nonprofits interested in participating are requested to contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline to provide a video is October 31.
