UNION COUNTY, NJ - The first of several training classes instructing attendees how to administer Narcan to reverse a heroin/opioid overdose will be held at Summit Oaks Hospital February 16 at 8 p.m.
The training is open to anyone at risk, or who has a family member or friend that is, of an opioid overdose. Eligible participants will receive a free Narcan, or naloxone, kit with information and linkage to subsistence abuse treatment resources.
This will be the first of four NARCAN trainings in Union County this spring. Other dates will be published once confirmed, and space is limited to the first 30 people.
