SUMMIT, NJ - The Kaleidoscope Theatre for Youth program will present Disney's "Camp Rock - The Musical," a Pixie Dust Players Production, beginning July 25, at the Summit Playhouse.  The show stars talented children and young adults from Union, Morris, and Essex counties and is directed and choreographed by Lindsay Maron, Director and Founder of Pixie Dust Players, with musical direction by Brandon Ilaw.

Based on the hit Disney movie "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," starring the Jonas Brothers, "CAMP ROCK: The Musical" opens with Mitchie and her friends arriving at Camp Rock, ready to spend another summer jamming out and having the time of their lives.  But the new, flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock's very existence.  To keep the doors open, Mitchie steps up, rallies her fellow rockers, and gets them into top shape for the ultimate showdown.  With a large ensemble cast, high-energy music, and lots of dance numbers, this show is sure to be loved by audiences of all ages.

The curtain goes up at July 25 at 7 p.m. , with additional performances -- also starting at 7 p.m. -- on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, July 26 and 31; and August 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9.  There is a 3 p.m. show on Sundays, July 27 and August 3, and 10.
