12/02 - George W. Brown, 36, of Orange was arrested for burglaries to several motor vehicles. Mr. Brown was processed and custody was transferred to New Providence Police for an investigation in their jurisdiction.

12/03 - Juan C. Morel-Arias, 25, of West New York was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Mr. Morel-Arias was released with a pending court date.

12/03 - Allan J. Pearson, 50, of Summit was arrested on a contempt of court warrant. Mr. Pearson was transported to the Union County Jail where custody was transferred to them.

12/04 - At 1240 hours a report was taken for a lost/stolen license plate. The license plate was removed from a vehicle that had been parked on Parkview Terrace between 1600 hours on 12/03 and 1140 hours on 12/04.

12/08 - At 1143 hours a report was taken for a theft from an Ashwood Avenue residence. The incident occurred sometime after 1926 hours on 12/07 which is when the tracking number shows they were delivered to the residence. Taken from the front steps of the home were two packages. The victim reports the items removed from the boxes were two Joy and Iman Fashionably Function RFID leather hand bags, one blue and one brown. Total value for the items was approximately $99.90.

12/11 - Jose A. Netro, 22, of Summit was arrested on a contempt of court warrant. Mr. Netro was processed and custody was transferred to Westfield Police Department for the warrant.

12/12 - At 2213 hours a report was taken for a theft of packages from an Oak Ridge Avenue residence. The incident occurred sometime after 1807 hours on 12/09 which is when the tracking number shows the items were delivered. Taken from the home were one Nespresso Evoluo Bundle Single Serve Espresso Maker, six cashmere sweaters, one Benson large tote bag and two pairs of tights. Total value of the items taken is approximately $825.29.

12/12 - Michael P. Lavin, 66, of Chatham was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Mr. Lavin was released with a pending court date.

12/12 - James V. Schwartz, 46, of Summit was arrested on a contempt of court warrant. Mr. Schwartz posted bail and was released with a pending court date.

12/13 - Raymond A. Johnson, 33, of Florham Park was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Mr. Johnson was released with a pending court date.

12/13 - Joseph R. Kernen, 60, of Short Hills was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Mr. Kernen was released with a pending court date.
