SUMMIT Presents the 15th Annual Classic Car Show Sunday, September 18, 2011

Summit Downtown, Inc. will present the 15th Annual Antique/Classic Car Show on Sunday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The Car Show will take place in downtown Summit on the streets adjacent to the Summit Train Station.  The rain date is Sunday, September 25, 2011.

This year Summit Downtown, Inc. will celebrate with the Mercedes Benz Club which was founded in Summit 55 years ago and now can be found in all 50 states.  The Club will commemorate its anniversary and is bringing 35 Mercedes Benz vehicles to the car show.  Oldies music from the 50’s and 60’s will be provided by DJ Stick Shift Eddie and the event promises to be fun for all car enthusiasts!

There are 20 classes of cars that will be judged and trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place finishers in each category and visitors to the Car Show will be able to cast their vote for the Peoples’ Choice Trophy.  To register, visit www.summitdowntown.org, go to Events and click on Forms directly below the Events heading to print a Registration Form.  The Registration fee is $25.
