SUMMIT, NJ - Summit Public Art’s 2016 Gala, entitled 'Art After Dark', will be held in a private home October 1, from 7 - 11 p.m., and feature original art from some of Summit’s exhibiting artists, an art sale, food and drinks, and live music from Lenox Underground.

Summit Public Art was founded in 2002 as the Mayor’s Partnership for Public Art. Its mission is to enhance the cityscape, infusing it with assorted contemporary art installations that provide public art experiences to those who live, work in, or visit Summit.

Summit Public Art believes that these aesthetic experiences enrich citizens’ quality of life, creating community ties and pride, and that they differentiate Summit from surrounding communities.
