SUMMIT, NJ - Eric Rhinehart's watercolors, which capture his impressions in color and gesture, will go on view at Artspace@MONDO beginning June 13.

A destination painter of sorts, trips to New England, the West Indies, and Europe provide Rhinehart with natural scenes and quiet vignettes of people at work, play and rest.   Whether guests at an English country pub, two ancient men in a Jamaican infirmary, or a woman enjoying a reflective swim, he aims to document his subject in a specific mood, place and time.

Rhinehart,  who lives in Summit, has a degree in illustration from Parsons The New School of Design.  He has participated in one-man and group shows in New York, Detroit, St. Louis, and Washington, DC.  Rhinehart s presently a member-artist at Artists’ Gallery in Lambertville, NJ.
